Natural Hair Loss Remedies

Research work is going on in the field of finding a permanent solution for preventing hair loss as this is a universal problem. When science had not advanced to this extent people used natural remedies to help solve the problem of hair loss. These natural hair loss remedies were in the form of herbal oils as they were procured from the earth.

People who have used these herbal products or naturally formed substance without altering their originality have claimed to have been successful in preventing hair loss.

There is no harm in using these naturally occurring products as they do not have any side effects. These herbal products are in the form of essential oils and are found in concentrated form. These oils are extracted from plants like lavender, soybean, bay etc. These oils are massaged slowly on the scalp assisting in the circulation of blood circulation and also stimulating hair follicle. Some of the most widely used oils along with their effectiveness are stated below:

1] Jojoba oil : Has been in use in Mexico for hundreds of years, it has been found to be effective in stimulating new hair growth, this oil should be massaged on the scalp, it has also been proved to lower DHT which is responsible for hair loss problem, this oil has also been proved to prevent dandruff. Provillus has also shown to help block DHT and has proved successful in preventing hair loss in men. Many homeopaths have recommended the use of Provillus for preventing hair loss and stimulating the dead hair follicle back to life.

2] Saw Palmetto Extract: This has been successfully used to treat prostate gland problems associated to older men, surprisingly the side effect of this is that it lowers the level of DHT thus preventing androgenetic alopecia. Saw Palmetto is used in the preparation of oral supplement Provillus. Women on oral contraceptive pills and women who are in the child bearing age are strictly warned against using this.

3] Nettle Root Extract : is rich in vitamin A and C and has been successfully used in Europe . This is also one of the ingredients used in Provillus.

4] Exercise : helps increase the blood circulation of the body and this includes the scalp. Due to the increase in the blood circulation the hair follicles get sufficient supply of blood which helps maintain the health and stimulates hair follicle.

5] Herbal cocktails : These are not to be taken orally. There are a variety of herbs which are used to help stimulate hair follicle and some have been mentioned above, herbal cocktails like rosemary, sage, nettle and burdock are boiled together, their leaves are strained and you need to wash your hairs with this everyday.

Though some of these remedies have shown to be successful, but then all depends upon individual body constituent. As these natural remedies do not have any side effects you can always try them out first before going in for more expensive modes of treatment.
